Oakland Jimmy Duffy (115-26) was the Pacific Coast Welterweight Title holder in the early 1920's and started his 
proffessional ring career 1915 and retired in 1932. He fought against many of the greats including Lew Tendler, Young Jack Thompson, Joe Gorman, Dave
Shade, Billy Wells, Bert Colima, Ceferino Garcia, Jimmy Dundee and Wilcat Carter.

Cup is tarnished but has great character.  Jimmy's Widow told me that Jimmy  
displayed his gloves and shoes-- one set in each trophy.

The famed Olympic Club matched Jimmy Duffy against Young Ketchell. Jimmy was victorious and received this
Loving Cup.  This same fight card had Jack Dempsey on it, who was defeated by Fatboy Willie Meehan.  Duffy
and Dempsey sparred during training for the fights.
